We aim to accelerate health research and breakthroughs by creating a robust community of one million or more individuals across the United States. Join All of Us to be a part of this transformative initiative.

Our primary objective is to advance personalized medicine, which focuses on providing healthcare tailored to individuals. It takes into account various factors such as geographical location, lifestyle, occupation, and family health history. The goal of personalized medicine is to guide individuals towards the most effective strategies for maintaining good health. In case of illness, personalized medicine assists healthcare professionals in identifying the most suitable treatment options.

To achieve our mission of finding improved treatments targeted at individuals and expediting the path to cures, we require the participation of one million or more individuals, resulting in the creation of the most extensive and diverse research database. Participants joining our initiative will share their health-related information over time, which will be studied by researchers. By focusing on diseases like diabetes, heart disease, cancer, asthma, as well as thousands of other conditions and genetic disorders affecting many individuals, we hope to obtain knowledge that can enhance the well-being of future generations.

Participants are considered our partners in this important endeavor. By joining All of Us, you will receive regular updates about your own health and how your information contributes to research.

HOW THIS WORKS

1. Download our mobile app and create your account.
2. If you decide to join, we will request various types of information from you. This will include basic personal information such as name and address, inquiries about your health, family history, living arrangements, and occupation. We may also require access to your electronic health records or request samples like saliva, blood, or urine. Furthermore, we might request access to your Apple Health and Apple Health Records data.
3. The health data we gather from participants will be securely stored in a database. Authorized researchers can access this data to explore the impact of environmental factors, lifestyle choices, and genetic predispositions on health. Insights from these studies have the potential to facilitate the development of individualized medical treatments, paving the way for precision medicine.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE

Registration is open to all eligible adults residing in the United States, regardless of race, ethnicity, sex, gender, or sexual orientation. We welcome individuals from all walks of life.

The All of Us program is spearheaded by the National Institutes of Health, an integral part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and one of the largest biomedical research organizations globally. Our initiative has partnered with renowned medical centers, research institutions, and community organizations such as the Mayo Clinic, Vanderbilt University, Walgreens, and WebMD. We are proud to have already engaged over 250,000 participants like you!
